U of T LGBTQ Hate Crime/Incident Reporting

If you have been the victim of, or a witness to a hate crime, harassment or discrimination at U of T, you can use this form to report it to the office of LGBTQ Resources and Programs.  The report can be anonymous if you wish.

U of T Sexual Harassment Office

The University's Sexual Harassment Policy prohibits harassment based on sex and sexual orientation. Harassment is defined as "conduct, comment or other forms of communication" that is directed at you because of your sex or sexual orientation, that creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive working or learning environment, and that a reasonable person would realise was unwelcome.

U of T Community Safety Office

Provides direct assistance and support, information and referrals for staff, faculty or students who have personal safety concerns. Services tend to be directed towards issues of: Assault; Disruptive Behavior; Harassing Telephone calls, letters, emails; Threatening behavior, comments; Sexual Harassment; Sexual Assault; Criminal Harassment; Suicide/attempt suicide/suicide threats.

Queer Bashing Hotline

Have you been attacked for being queer?  Call 416-392-6877 to report it and get support. A service provided by the 519 Community Centre.

'the House' Community Health Centre

The House Community Health Centre offers a full range of primary and sexual health care services to Toronto youth ages 13 to 25. The House is committed to providing multi-disciplinary services that are youth-positive, sex-positive, inclusive, non-judgmental and pro-choice.

You are not alone! You can call the Lesbian Gay Bi Youth Line at 1-800-268-YOUTH (1-800-268-9688) across Ontario, or (416) 962-YOUTH (962-9688) in the 416/905 local calling area. Hours are Sunday to Friday, 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The Lesbian Gay Bi Youth Line is a service provided for youth, by youth that affirms the experiences and aspirations of lesbian, gay, bisexual, Trans People, two-spirited and questioning youth in Ontario. They are queer-positive and non-judgmental, and provide confidential peer support through telephone listening, information and referral services.
